What Would You Say The Song That Jane Likes When the World Ends Crush Kit Kat Jam So Much to Say » Anyone Seen the Bridge » Too Much You Never Know Captain Big Eyed Fish » Bartender Dancing Nancies [tease] Jimi Thing Fool to Think Where Are You Going Grey Street ———————————– Little Thing [tease] Cry Freedom What You Are
On July 29, 2002, Dave Matthews Band closed out their two-night stand at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center with a performance that felt both expansive and deeply connected. Night two leaned into contrast, blending reflective moments with bursts of energy that kept the crowd engaged from start to finish.
The show opened strong with “Pig” and “Warehouse,” immediately locking in the band’s rhythm and crowd connection. From there, “Grey Street” carried the emotional weight of the Busted Stuff era, while the graceful pairing of “Proudest Monkey” » “Satellite” slowed things down with a smooth, atmospheric transition. That balance continued as “Don’t Drink the Water” and “One Sweet World” brought power and lift back into the set.
Midway through, “Kit Kat Jam” and “#41” gave the band room to stretch, showcasing the improvisational interplay that defined this period. Later, “Raven,” “Loving Wings,” and “Where Are You Going” highlighted the evolving newer material before “Ants Marching” delivered a familiar, high-energy peak.
The encore sealed the night with “Dancing Nancies” flowing into a driving “Two Step,” sending the SPAC crowd out on a high.
